Description
I.S. Dyer was born and brought up in a household where Airedale Terriers and German Roller Canaries were bred. As a young man fresh out of the Army, he spent some happy months helping his father with the livestock on a farm he then owned.
With his background, he has always been interested in birds, animals, and plants, especially birds. This is born out by the articles he has written, and his book on New Zealand Parakeets Kakariki compiled by research and personal experience, as the reader will discover.
